Biography
Biography

Lucy gained a music scholarship to Princess Helena College at the age of 10 where she started singing. While still at school, she sang with the Bach Choir in performances of St. Matthew Passion at both The Royal Festival Hall and The Royal Albert Hall and went on tour to Vienna where she sang solo in St. Stephen's Cathedral.
In 2009, she graduated from Southampton University with a music degree. Whilst at Southampton, she was a member of Southampton University Chamber Choir with whom she toured to Italy singing at various venues in Verona and Venice including St. Mark's Cathedral.
Lucy is also an experienced choral singer, and sang in Westminster Abbey with QC Chamber Choir in 2012. She is currently the soloist with the Welwyn Garden City male voice choir and has performed in several local concerts with them, including a concert at The Old Palace, Hatfield House.
She performs regularly at the Musical Mystery Tour as part of the Hertford music festival. Recently, she has taken part in the Cambridge Busking Festival, the Hitchin Busking Festival and the St. Albans Organ Festival.
Lucy has been involved with many local events, such as the Mayor of Hertford's Vintage Tea Party and the St. George's Day Celebrations in Hertford. She has also supported many charity events including a classical afternoon tea in aid of Isabel Hospice and most recently a charity fundraising day at the Harpur Centre in Bedford for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
She currently trains with Liz Harley ( http://www.harleyvoicestudio.co.uk/ ) and occasionally performs with Singers at the Barn at the Barn Theatre, Welwyn Garden City.
Although Lucy is mainly a classical singer, she is versatile and able to sing songs from other genres. She would be able to learn any suitable songs which were requested, if given enough notice.
