"Lucy Black's singing is.... uplifting, magical, fluid, emotionally charged, powerful, soft, crystalline and all at once"
-The Doorstep Traveller
"Lucy is a very talented young lady. She recently sang at a party I gave for two members of my family. Her soprano voice is very well suited to entertaining a group such as we were - about 20 of us, on a boat travelling slowly along a local river. She coped well with adverse wind conditions and remained in tune even when challenged by the boat's hooter. I also think that her presentation of the classical music (songs from popular films and musicals) could well suit a much larger audience. She smiled and cheered a gloomy afternoon and her voice was beautiful. She should go far in her chosen career."
